Motorsports Mayhem

EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19

The Four Seasons of Fun promoters have made the difficult decision to cancel Motorsports Mayhem scheduled for May 8th and 9th. Although it would have been a great event and hopefully allowed people to relax after all of the current stress, every public health expert expects that there will be the need for continued significant social restrictions beyond our event date. These restrictions will be even more important in rural areas like Richland Center where medical resources are limited and any anticipated surge in illness will likely be delayed for another few weeks. Even if some of the current restrictions were lifted, it would be socially irresponsible to proceed with a gathering of over 5000 people.

This has been a very difficult decision to make but we feel making this decision now will help reduce the burden on our vendors, suppliers, fans, and competitors. This decision is also fiscally responsible especially considering the poor luck the events have had with rain over the last 4 years. By reducing the losses associated with cancelling an event just prior to the event, we can use those funds to support local charities affected by Covid-19. We know many have already started preparing for this event and we sincerely apologize and hope you understand the position that event promoters have been placed in. We will not be rescheduling the event for later in the year.

We pray for your understanding and hope you and your family remain in good health.
